Asset library is your one-stop shop to manage your assets across all campaigns and ad groups. This is a convenient account-level shared library that makes it easy to create, edit, organize, and search for assets all in one place. Create ads that stand out by accessing your existing assets, adding new assets, or using Microsoft Advertising's Shutterstock assets. With AI, you can also generate custom, high-quality imagery for your ads. See below for more information about how to view all ads using your assets, deleting your assets and folders, how to view asset performance, and how to use AI to generate images.
Asset library currently supports images and videos. Other asset types, such as brand logos, text assets, and calls to action are coming soon. Not everyone can use videos yet. If you can't, don't worry—it's coming soon!
Save time. Efficiently access and find your assets across all campaigns and ad groups. You can search by image name, ID, date added, import source, size, and most recent images. Showcase newly created or existing assets in your ads.
Edit your assets in bulk. You can choose how your image will look across all potential ad placements using Asset library's bulk edit tool. When editing in bulk, your changes will be applied to every ad placement and campaign that use the asset. Learn more about bulk edit.
Stay organized. Use this shared library to view, sort, and reuse your assets. You can create multi-level folders to help organize your assets better. You can also view all ads that use your assets. Learn more.

Captivate your audience and enhance your ads by generating custom, relevant images powered by Dall-E 3. All you need to do is describe the image you want, and multiple variations will be generated for you to choose from.
Generate imagesFrom the top menu, select Asset Library.
If you're using the new Microsoft Advertising navigation, from the navigation menu on the left, select Asset Library.
Note: Up to four images with a 1 : 1 aspect ratio will be generated at a time.
We recommend that you're as specific as possible when describing the images you want to generate. You may include the image's theme, style, lighting, camera model, and more. For example, "A cozy living room scene in a Scandinavian minimalist style, showcasing sleek sofas and geometric coffee tables, with natural morning light streaming through large windows." Being directive helps the AI generate better images for your ads. The more details you provide, the better suited the image will be to your ads.
About brand detectionIt's your responsibility to ensure that the generated images displayed in your ads do not infringe upon any third-party rights, including copyright or other intellectual property rights that belong to brands. When entering your image descriptions, make sure they don't include any brands that don't belong to your business. For example, you'll want to enter “a pair of pink athletic shoes” as your image description instead of “a pair of pink Nike shoes.”
There are two ways to edit your assets. You can edit your assets in bulk or you can edit specific aspect ratios for each ad type.
