How to book appointments through your Smart Page

If you haven't built your website yet, make sure you build it first.

In your Smart Page, customers can book appointments for your business. Learn how to set up, modify, and delete bookings in your Smart Page below.

Set up appointments in your Smart Page

To accept bookings from your customers, follow these steps:

  1. Sign into Smart Pages.
  2. Optionally, add a Services section to your Smart Page to describe what booking services your business offers.
  3. Change your Customer action button to Book appointment.
  4. Add the email address you'd like customers to use to contact you.
  5. Select When can customers book appointments with you? to set your available booking hours. Note: Currently, customers can't book multiple appointments at overlapping times.
  6. Optionally, if you'd like to manage your bookings through an external website, select Use an external booking website and include the website you'll use for bookings.
  7. In the upper-right corner, select Publish to publish your changes online. If you make any changes to your booking details in the future, you'll need to publish your website for those changes to reflect on your published Smart Page.
  • You can edit your website at any time.

  • From time to time, we may update the design of your website to optimize it and help customers connect more easily with your business. The content of the website components you've edited won't be modified.

Manage existing bookings

Once a customer books an appointment with you, you'll receive an email confirmation at the address you provided in the Customer action button section. You'll also receive an email at the start of each week with all of your scheduled appointments for that week. To view and manage your bookings, you can log into your Smart Pages homepage or manage your bookings from the Smart Pages editor using the Manage existing appointments option within your Customer action button section.

  • If you need to make any changes to an existing appointment, we strongly recommend emailing your customer to let them know.
  • To edit an appointment's length or timing, select Edit appointment for the appointment you want to change, make any necessary changes, and then select Update appointment.
  • If you need to cancel an appointment, select Cancel appointment and confirm that you want to cancel on the next screen.
  • For anything else, please email your customer directly using the email address they've provided.
