Prevent ads from appearing on specific websites

You can prevent your ads from appearing on specific websites with Microsoft Advertising Editor.

You can prevent your ads from appearing on specific websites, such as those with content that you don't want associated with your ads.

  1. Select the campaigns or ad groups from the tree view in the left panel that you want to add website exclusions.
  2. From the type list in the left panel, under Keywords and targeting, click Website exclusions.
  3. In the data view, click Add website exclusion.
  4. Click Add ad group website exclusion or Add campaign website exclusion.
  5. Select the campaign or ad group you want to add website exclusions.
  6. Type the website URL into the text box at the bottom of the page.
  7. Press enter.
Note

Website exclusion for search ads is available only for campaigns and ad groups running in the U.S. and Canada markets.
